What’s Diet Plan And What To Do?

Probably you feel so hardto lose weight so you read my article at the moment. As you can see, There are millions who are living with obesity problems in our world. Do you think they are not discipline? Probably not. According to a review by experts, most obese people ever joined a diet plan.

Sadly, most of these programs have failed them. It creates antipathy among these victims. Many diet experts announce that their diet programs work, nevertheless only few who succeed with those diet programs. It is ridiculous to hear new and “revolutionary” programs come to our house every day grapefruit-diet, milkshake diet, or low carb diet. Can they help us to lose some pounds? If you ask me, most people fail to achieve their objectives.

Everyone have different body and different metabolism rate so actually what is best for others is not always the right alternative for you. You shouldn’t only think about your objective but you must also remember about your habit. If you success with one diet program, for example: you lose 10 pounds within 30 days, then it does not mean you can come back to your old lifestyle after you achieve your objective.

What’s crucial from a diet program is your lifestyle. So after you successful with your objective, you must keep watching what you eat and don’t forget to keep training your muscles. Usually they forget their discipline after they lose some pounds. It is an unnoticeable reason why most people get wider again. Diet is simple, it is only about your eating habit and running 30 minutes per day. Nevertheless, what difficult is how to practice these things.

A Review of the Atkins Diet Plan

The Atkins diet first appeared in the 1970s and has grown popularity in recent
years in response to the low-fat diet craze. As dieters had trouble with low-fat
plans, they searched for a new solution and Dr. Atkins’ New Diet Revolution
book found a new audience.
The Atkins diet has become very popular, but what are the basic principles
of the Atkins diet?
The Atkins diet is based on a theory of why we get fat. According to Dr. Atkins,
the over-consumption of carbohydrates and simple sugars leads to weight gain.
The way your body processes the carbohydrates you eat have more to do with your
waistline than the amount of fat or calories that you consume.
In his book, Atkins outlines a phenomenon called “insulin resistance.”
He theorizes that many overweight people have cells that do not work correctly.

When you eat excess carbohydrates and sugar, your body notices that sugar levels
are elevated. Insulin is released from the pancreas in order to store sugar
as glycogen in the liver and muscle cells for extra energy later on.
However, your body can only store so much glycogen at once. As soon as your
body reaches its limit for glycogen storage, the excess carbohydrates are stored
as fat. This happens to everyone who eats too many carbohydrates.
However, insulin resistant individuals have an even harder time of using and
storing excess carbohydrates. The more insulin that your body is exposed to,
the more resistant it becomes. Overtime, the pancreas releases more insulin
and cells become insulin resistant. The cells are trying to protect themselves
from the toxic effects of high insulin. They create less glycogen and more fat.
As a result, insulin resistant individuals gain extra weight. The carbohydrates
get converted into fat instead of energy. Other side effects include fatigue,
brain “fog” (the inability to focus, poor memory, loss of creativity),
low blood sugar (which can leads to hypoglycemia), intestinal bloating, sleepiness,
depression and increased blood sugar. There is much more than weight at stake
when you are insulin resistant.
The remedy for people who are insulin resistant is a diet restricted in carbohydrates.
The Atkins diet is a limitation of carbohydrates in all of its forms. The foods
restricted on the Atkins plan include simple sugars (like biscuits, sugary drinks
and sweets) and complex carbohydrates (like bread, rice and grains). Even carbohydrates
that are considered healthy, such as oatmeal, brown rice and whole wheat bread,
are restricted on the program.
The diet has you restrict your carbohydrate intake to less than 40 grams a
day. This will put your body in a state of ketosis. While in ketosis, your body
will burn fat as fuel. According to Dr. Atkins’ research, the ketosis state
will also affect insulin production and it will prevent more fat from being
formed. Your body will begin using your stored fat as an efficient form of fuel,
and you’ll lose weight.
Ketones are actual a normally and efficient source of fuel for the human body.
They are created in the liver from the fatty acids that result from the breakdown
of body fat. These only appear when there is an absence of glucose and sugar.
In the Atkins diet, you reduce the amount of glucose and sugar that is in the
bloodstream. As a result, your body produces ketones for fuel. When your body
is creating ketones it is called ketosis.
There is a common misconception that following a ketogenic diet like Atkins
is dangerous. The truth is that being in ketosis is a completely naturally state.
The human body creates ketones to use as fuel in the absence of glucose.
Another benefit of the Atkins plan is that ketosis will end your cravings for
carbohydrates. If you’ve been living on a carb-heavy diet, you may have
found that you simply cannot get enough carbohydrates.
With carbohydrate restriction and ketosis comes a reduction in carbohydrate
cravings. People who have been on the Atkins diet for some time report that
they do not crave carbohydrates as they once did.
Although the initial phases of the Atkins diet are rather strict, the program
teaches you to restore balance to your diet in the long run. People who use
the diet slowly reintroduce small amounts of carbohydrate into their eating
until they find a comfortable balance between their health and carbohydrate
intake.

4 Things to be Weary of When Diet or Exercise Shopping

The diet and exercise fad is a multi-billion dollar a year industry. There are new products that are released to the public each day.  You may have the Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) as a watchdog for some of the items, but much of them come from factory direct to you with no review or control at all.  Here are a few tips that will help you if you are contemplating getting one of these helpers.

If it sounds too good to be true, it probably is – If the diet product you’re considering is guaranteeing massive weight loss with nothing more than a pill or drink think again.  The only thing that will have weight loss is your wallet.  Any diet that says all you have to do is just take their product and continue the lifestyle you currently have will do little or nothing for you.  Dieting is hard work since you have to change what you’re currently doing in order to drop weight.

Beware of wolves in sheep’s clothing – If you see an advertisement with before and after shots of individuals again with a guarantee, please do some research.  I always find it amazing that every actor in these ads seem to have the same bathing suit on (color and style).  I would say there’s some special affects going on here and it’s not weight loss.   Check out the web site of the product and look for the disclaimer, like “results are not typical” or “must follow diet and exercise plan for full results”.

Are all endorsements the same? – If you are trying to lose weight and look at a certain product for either diet or exercise, make sure that the people that are endorsing are similar to you.  Celebrities usually get paid quite well for their help on promoting an item, but do they actually use it?   You need to consider the celebrity has more time and money to invest in the endorsement that you do.  An abdominal exerciser may work great if you have a personal trainer, 2 hours a day to work on it and a body that really wasn’t out of shape to begin with.  Look to people that work a real job and can devote the same amount of time that you do.  That person is more credible than a pampered artist.

What is the real price? – How about a product that sells for only $39.95 (but the fine print says or you hear in another voice) for the next 5 months.  That $39.95 has now turned into $200.  Much different than what you were expecting to pay.  You should also be aware of scams where the product you want has some extras, but those extras really are the product you see on TV.

You work hard for you money and shouldn’t throw it away on fancy ads that promise spectacular results to only end up as a clothes hanger in your bedroom.

Diet Reviews – You Better Add a Grain of Salt

When I first starting doing a little research on diets last year I was absolutely amazed at both the number of popular diets, and the conflicting information about many. One thing I quickly learned to do was consider the review’s bias.

Every diet out there has their fan club and many times, a few folks that hate it. It’s similar to cars, many people love their car and hate some others. Often it’s more a matter of personal opinion on something as subjective as a diet plan or cars.

Of course you do have your experts in any given field of endeavor. Through training or experience someone gains knowledge and respect from their peers in specific areas. Or maybe due to their professional role, for instance a doctor’s opinions may be more respected in nutrition and diet areas rather than a mechanic.

The tough part of reading any review is to try and separate the opinion from the facts. And when you get into an area like diets, there are competing and confusing opinions on just about every one.

Part of the problem with any review of a diet plan is that there are so many variables with each person that there is no absolute for everyone. Since we all have different body types, lifestyles, and goals each person can respond differently to any diet plan.

What I learned after a little trial and error is that it’s important to consider your particular lifestyle, goals, and current condition when choosing the right diet for you. If you read the reviews and they all state that the first two weeks involve heavy exercise and you can’t exercise (due to other physical issues), that’s not a good diet for you.

· Many of the more popular diets have a very severe first period (up to two weeks) and will definitely defeat all but the most dedicated. That’s because the diet wants to “shock” or change the way your body burns fat. Some reviews mention this but not many.

· Some diets also rely on providing diuretic food (foods that increase urination) to make you flush water from your system. Why, because water is heavy and you can see some quick weight loss if you start dumping the water your body carries around. Another often overlooked area for most reviewers.

· One aspect of any review is that the person writing the review should have personal experience with the diet. If they haven’t personally tried it, they should at least have some kind of information from people who have. That’s often missing in many diet reviews.

Always consider the source when reading any review, regardless of subject. Weight loss is a very personal area since we all have different bodies and current conditions. Watch out for the “Fad Diets”, many can be worthless and even harmful.

By the way, salt is not bad for you. In fact you need salt to survive. The problem is that all the processed foods that we often eat contain so much sodium (look at the label – a can of soup can be 36% sodium or more) that we consume way too much. Start reading the labels and start choosing the items with less sodium.

Then you can add a grain of salt (or more) to anything!

August Resolution #1: Take Action!

This morning I was reviewing my goals for this year. I needed to do some revisions and make some changes. I do this on a regular basis.

Normally people think about their “resolutions” in late December, or, on New Year’s Day. They write down their goals for the upcoming year. Many times these goals are referred to as “resolutions.” But when August rolls around, for many people, their goals and resolutions have been long since forgotten.

People abandon their resolutions because they either had no plan, or they did not follow their plan. They may have looked at their goals on a regular basis. They may even written up affirmations to say aloud every day. But those kinds of activities will not magically bring your goals into reality.

I am aware that there are countless ideas, suggestions, methods and programs designed to help people achieve their goals. Many tools exist, such as writing exercises, vocalizing affirmations, visualizing goals or even carrying pieces of paper around as reminders.

Some methods and activities can be very helpful. One method may help one person while another method will help someone else. But unless a plan exists that includes action towards reaching that goal, it just will not happen.

For example, let’s say that your goal is to arrive at and maintain a certain body weight. You write your goal down on paper. You vocalize it and visualize it in your mind. You are excited about reaching your goal.

Those are all wonderful tools to help your mind stay on course and to remember your destination, but unless you change your eating habits and your exercising habits, nothing is going to change. You won’t be losing any weight. In fact, you might keep gaining!

You need an action plan that is specific to your goal. Then, you take the action faithfully. And if you need to revise the plan, or tweak it, then that’s what you do.

This morning, as I was reviewing my specific goals for the year, I made some changes because one of my goals is now a reality. Last January I had a goal to have a membership website up and running this year. I looked at that goal every day, prayed about it, and, had positive thoughts and affirmations throughout the day.

But, if that’s all that I would have done, the website would not be up and running today. I had a plan and I worked that plan. I revised the plan along the way, but the goal was still the same.

So, now, getting the site up and running is no longer a goal. I have new goals for the site. I have written them down. I am exited about them. I pray about it, I think and speak positively about it, and, I have an action plan.

Methods and programs can be a great help. They can keep you focused on the goal. They can serve to remind you of where you want to go. But they, in and of themselves, cannot bring your goals into reality.

I know that you have probably seen advertisements, just like I have that lure people into thinking that there is a “magical formula.” Just do this 3 times a day, and “presto” your whole life will change! I saw an ad once for a CD that you listen to before you go to bed and you can loose weight! They even added, “Without changing your diet or exercise!”

Whether it’s get rich quick, instant weight loss or perfect abs in thirty seconds, why do so many people buy into those kinds of things? Maybe it’s because we live in such an instantaneous culture, with instant potatoes, and a full meal in thirty seconds from the drive-through, or instant messaging. People have become lazy and are looking for the quick, instant fix for everything.

By all means, use whatever tools or methods that help you to stay on course. Be sure to guard your thoughts. Keep your thinking positive. But for every goal that you have, implement and revise an action plan. Then, take the action necessary to see that goal come to pass. And, try to do something every day to reach your goal, no matter how small or insignificant it seems.

So, are you ready to revise your August resolutions?

How To Loose Weight The Safe Way.

When a person embarks on a weight loss program, there is typically an impatience for the desired results to become visible sooner rather than later. This leads many to dabble in fad diets and weight loss programs that may “guarantee” quick results, but which may not be the appropriate in regards to safe weight loss. An individual making the decision to lose weight must take the time to educate himself on the healthiest and safest methods of doing so.

Unfortunately the most safe weight loss occurs slowly and steadily rather than quickly, and involves certain lifestyle modifications that can continue through the weight loss process into that of proper weight maintenance. The good news is that safe weight loss can also contribute to a healthier lifestyle that will help an individual feel better as well as look better, both in the short and long run.

Where do I start?

The first step to losing weight is a good diet plan. A good diet will include the recommended daily allowance of vitamins, minerals and proteins, while reducing the amount of calories. Generally, women should look for a diet of about 1000-1200 calories each day, and men should choose a diet that is between 1200 and 1600 calories. Before you write these guidelines in stone however, make sure to check with your doctor so that you can find the best diet regimen for you.

The most important thing is that you are trying to get a good steady weight loss; your diet plan should see results in the loss of about a pound per week after the first couple of weeks. The reason for more rapid loss at the beginning is that much more fluid is lost during the initial calorie reduction.

The most impotent thing in a weight loss program is a good excise routine. This plan should start slowly at first, and again, only under a doctor’s supervision. It is a good idea to combine aerobic and strength training for maximum benefit. Exercise is the only safe method of boosting metabolism, which will help your body burn calories more effectively. Other benefits of exercise can include increased energy and decreased depression. It is a program that should be incorporated into your lifestyle long after the weight loss goal is achieved.

Reading the food primed will show how to loose weight as fast as you safely can. Other guidelines that may sound obvious but are still worth mentioning are increasing the number of fruits and vegetables in your diet. Fruit, for instance, can be especially helpful since it is a good source of fiber and can satisfy a chronic sweet tooth. You should also eat less junk food and drink less soda, and finally, watch your portion size to make sure that you are not inadvertently overeating even healthy food choices.

Safe weight loss can be a long process, but the advantage to this approach is that you will not only lose weight, but will you will also stand a greater chance of keeping the weight off and you enjoy the benefits of a healthier lifestyle.

Fat Loss for Idiots Review-does Fat Loss 4 Idiots Work or is it a Scam

It’s possible to lose 6-8lbs in the next 10 days with some of the best ways to burn fat. Not all dieting plans are effective. Infact a vast majority of the diets like; Alli diet plan, jenny Craig, Perricone’s, Dottie’s program, Kevin Trudeau diet, Hoodia pills, Ketogenic and others, may not work well for you if you understand the number one secret to weight loss, food and metabolism rate.

The single most important factor that you will need to understand is how your metabolism rate works and why eating less carbs, low carbs and fewer meals do not seem to lead to loss of weight. Inorder to this, you need to get only those fat burning plans that explain to you in detail the relationships between food, the quantity, and why you have not lost weight in the last few weeks of diet programs.

One of the qualities of a good dieting plan is its ability to explain why taking in less food does not lead to loss of weight. People are now sticking to low calorie diets and foods in a bid to starve the body of calories. What most weight watchers don’t know is that their bodies are made to detect such a reduction in calories and adjust accordingly.

Your body’s metabolism rate is the process top break down the food calories into energy. Depending on the amount and d types of food you eat, your metabolism rate increases or reduces to burn just the enough calories your body needs per day. So when you switch off the calories intake, all the metabolism does is reduce its rate to adjust to the calories you are presently taking.

An Example is if you take in 3000 calories per day, then the metabolism rate adapts to burning exactly 3000 calories per day. If you get on a harsh diet or reduce the amount of calorie intake by half to 1500 cal, the metabolism rate fast adjusts to burn exactly the same amount you are presently taking. The net effect, you fail to lose weight while even your friends that take 3000 cals a day don’t gain any weight.

How To Stave Off Plastic Surgery Naturally And Attain A Younger Face

The world has seen great strides in medical miracles, technology and anti-aging. We see cutting edge conveniences everywhere as we live keep-up-to-date lives that have altered who we are.

We have cell phones that provide us with on-the-go communication as we download movies, music and news. Never in the history of our world have we been so closely connected as we further rely on the internet to bring us information, news, sports scores and more in real time – it’s all readily available at our fingertips.

Preventing maladies and protecting our health has become everyday news. Anyone who reads, listens to radio and watches television knows that exercise and diet are vitally important to our good health; we choose our foods wisely and know that exercise improves not only our waistlines but also our blood pressure, blood serums and it keeps dis-ease at bay.

People seem to easily live healthfully into their 70’s, 80’s and 90’s. Options for living longer means one can easily replace knees, hips, even elbows if they wear out; hearts and lungs and other organs are transplanted plus there are many, many drug and vitamin supplements that work to keep us vitally alive

We live in a youth obsessed world. We don’t want to feel old or look old; we want to look like the airbrushed models we see in magazines, billboards and television. Aging can be a painful experience as we look in the mirror and see an older face staring back at us. How and when did this happen?

Little by little facial muscles begin to lose their vitality. This loss of vitality produces noticeable sagging over time as the muscles elongate; this action drags the skin downward making one look tired, out of shape and old. One might see down turned mouth corners, a flabby neck or a lined forehead develop practically overnight. Aging in the face can alter our lives as we lose confidence in our appearance.

One option to turn back the clock is plastic surgery; it has certainly become mainstream and affordable but surgery has inherent risks such as anesthesia complications, loss of sensation, risk of infection and less than stellar results sometimes occur. Taking unnecessary financial risks and risking one’s health to attain youthfulness is a very steep investment that one should carefully consider.

Another aspect of having a surgical face procedure is that muscles continue to atrophy, pulling the skin downward. Unfortunately, surgery does not stave off the aging process; procedures just mask the symptoms and the muscles continue to weaken due to inactivity. Surgical face lifts may be repeated and little “nips and tucks” performed periodically to “freshen” the lift; again, more risk for the patient.

Injections of “filler materials” have become so popular, one shouldn’t be surprised to find them popping up in every airport kiosk. Botox® and Restylane® and Collagen are the “darlings” of the many available injections but they, too, only mask aging in the face. The results from these injections are temporary and must be repeated several times per year to counteract further muscle elongation.

What if one wants to proceed naturally? Is there a way to look revitalized when you don’t want to spend money or risk your health to look younger and fresher?

There are those “weeds” and “seeds” – people who prefer everything organic and natural to achieve better health and they would never consider plastic surgery, rather you will find them seeking the latest information from their trusted naturopath and exploring other techniques that are proven and safe.

One easy way to a non-surgical, non-invasive face lift is to practice isometric facial exercise. This is a natural way to revitalize the facial muscles and yet look at least ten to fifteen years younger in just a few weeks. Isometric movements along with resistance techniques make a huge difference when you exercise your body; the same type of exercise will lift, tone and tighten the facial muscles. You will look healthier and younger as you laugh all the way to the bank.
